(Experiences will be adjusted to the age range)

Jedi Training Academy

Focus: Physical fitness, balance, mindfulness

Activities:

In this activity, kids learn to wield "lightsabers" (foam noodles) while practicing Jedi moves that enhance balance, agility, and coordination. They navigate obstacle courses using their imagination to "use the Force" for tasks like dodging lasers and climbing through tunnels. The session also includes "Jedi meditation," teaching mindfulness and calming breathing techniques to improve focus.

Olympic Adventures

Focus: Sports skills, resilience, international cultures

Activities:

In this Olympic-themed activity, kids engage in mini-games based on sports like running, jumping, and throwing. They hear inspiring stories of athletes like Simone Biles, Usain Bolt, and Michael Phelps to foster determination and perseverance. Children represent different countries, learning about global cultures as they participate in friendly competitions. Emphasis is placed on rewarding teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort rather than winning.

Little Artists: Meet the Masters

Focus: Visual arts, creativity, art history

Activities:

In this art-themed activity, each session introduces a famous artist like Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, or Michelangelo, with kids creating artwork inspired by their styles, such as starry skies or self-portraits. Basic art techniques like drawing, painting, and sculpting are taught using age-appropriate materials. Storytelling about the artist’s life highlights their struggles and inspirations, showing how these shaped their famous works.

Magic School Academy

Focus: Problem-solving, science, teamwork

Activities:

In this magic-themed activity, kids participate in a "magic class" where they mix "potions" (simple science experiments) and cast spells with fun phrases and hand movements. They learn basic chemistry through foaming, fizzing, and bubbling reactions using safe household ingredients. The session includes "magical sports" inspired by Quidditch, promoting agility and teamwork. Kids also design their own magic wands and create spellbooks with drawings of magical creatures or symbols, blending creativity with learning.

Superhero Training Camp

Focus: Strength, agility, teamwork

Activities:

In this superhero-themed activity, kids train to become heroes through obstacle courses with stations for jumping over "buildings," running super-fast sprints, and showing strength by pulling or pushing light objects. They also create their own superhero origin stories and design costumes using arts and crafts. To build teamwork and problem-solving skills, children role-play scenarios where they collaborate as superheroes to save the day.

Ninja Warriors of Japan

Focus: Martial arts, agility, discipline

Activities:

In this ninja-themed activity, kids navigate a mini Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course to practice climbing, jumping, and balancing like ninjas. They learn basic, non-contact martial arts moves with an emphasis on control, respect, and discipline. Through storytelling, they explore the history of real ninjas, discovering Japanese culture, language, and ancient techniques for stealth and strategy. The experience is enhanced by making paper ninja stars (origami) or headbands as a creative craft.

Leonardo’s Inventors Workshop

Focus: Invention, creativity, problem-solving

Activities:

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, this activity guides children in inventing their own "machines" using craft materials. Kids learn about da Vinci’s famous inventions and sketches, discovering how creativity leads to groundbreaking ideas. Working in teams, they build bridges, flying machines, or other simple inventions, fostering collaboration and hands-on problem-solving. Basic STEM concepts are introduced as they explore how things are built and function.

Arthurian Knights and Princesses

Focus: History, teamwork, bravery

Activities:

In this "knight training" session, kids learn chivalry, teamwork, and bravery through obstacle courses and cooperative games. They explore the legends of King Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table, focusing on values like loyalty, friendship, and courage. Children build cardboard shields, swords, and design their own knightly armor or royal crowns. The session concludes with a "knighting" ceremony, where each child earns a knight or royal title.
